 La agresión legítima dentro de las artes marciales tradicionales existe "per se" por el mero hecho de ser "artes de guerra o combativas". Con una premisa básica: "Estar dentro de la legalidad". ¿Qué significa eso? Que dentro de las Artes Marciales tradicionales se tiene un enorme arsenal para utilizar, pero la "legalidad" dice que para que se dé la agresión legítima debe  existir suficiente provocación y debe ser proporcional, a partir de estas premisas se puede usar la "herramienta" que se considere adecuada. La forma en que enseñe el "maestro" será la diferencia entre ver la aplicación defensiva para la agresión legítima o no.

Tal vez, el problema de "publicitar" la Agresión legítima como algo independiente se debe a dos razones: la agresión legítima dentro de las fuerzas del orden y la ausencia de conocimientos de la agresión legítima dentro de las artes marciales por parte de determinados "maestros" (hablo enmarcándolo dentro de los primeros años del kung fu en España). En cuanto a lo primero, históricamente está escrito y guardado que con intención de "hacer el menor daño posible" a los posibles delincuentes se eligieran una serie de técnicas, en concreto técnicas de control y acompañamiento, por tanto no se enseñó a las fuerzas del orden a golpear (en otra ocasión haré un artículo referido a la necesidad o dotar a las fuerzas del orden de otras herramientas); en cuanto a lo segundo, los maestros chinos en España que daban clases eran limitados y el resto de maestros, de origen español o foráneos, si bien podían tener un nivel de cinturón negro o superior, no supieron enseñar o ,directamente, no sabían la aplicación marcial fuera de lo evidente.

Las artes marciales chinas son ricas en conceptos tanto en estrategia como en táctica, pero claro... deben darse estas dos cosas: un maestro que enseñe, un alumno que entienda. Si sólo existe una, no sirve de nada.

*Hablo con cierto grado de conocimiento histórico porque, si no fuí el primero fuí de los primeros, decía que la razón es porque hice una demostración de agresión legítima con ropa de calle y un cuchillo de campo en el intermedio de una velada de Full Contact en la que participaron de Exhibición Dominic Valera y los hermanos Morente junto José Fernández (?). Por cierto, algo que nadie sabe, terminé con un montón de pequeños cortes que no llegaron a sangrar y me hicieron cuestionarme ciertas cosas.
